Press releases help support our content program. In addition to writing press releases, I adapted them with audience-specific language for the website's news channel, making them available for newsletters and relevant internal links in other digital communications.

Awards
Monarch's PR content strategy helped fuel the company's transformation from a startup to a global AgTech leader. In two years, Monarch earned 15 awards from powerhouses like TIME, Forbes, and Fast Company. For each award, I wrote corresponding news entries, crafting messaging that aligned with Monarch's evolving business goals.
Events & Speaking Engagements
Panel participation, keynote addresses, conference presentations, events, and podcasts promoted Monarch's message and brand to audiences and stakeholders. By intensively reviewing videos and slide decks, I interpreted each presentation and adapted it to our news or blog channels. These informed social post copy, anchored newsletters, were farmed for testimonials, and built leadership authority for SEO.
Customer Stories
Shifting public perception of a product from a future concept to successful deployment and commercial availability demanded agile strategies. With performance metrics unavailable, we collaborated with sales and monitored the press to identify stories that could showcase Monarch's product in use with thrilled owners. In eight months, we published eight engaging stories filled with quotes, video, and images. This effort along with celebrating customers' wins, built the foundation for a customer community.
Press
Televised news segments, print, YouTube shows, commercials — Monarch's coverage from sources with massive audiences stacked up. Using each press interaction as its own story, I adapted these stories for the website's blog, news, and spotlight pages. This generated a spike in organic search results and additional material for social, newsletters, and testimonials.
Trade Publication Marketing
Leveraging my journalist skill set, we developed a tactic to pitch an independently authored story that positioned Monarch's product and associated services as a natural solution. I researched trade-specific articles and interviewed internal sales and product specialists to pitch a story the editor loved. Timed just before a tradeshow, the article strengthened brand visibility and credibility for prospects visiting the Monarch booth.
